NTT provides good protection from environmental effects, UV radiation and moisture. It is suitable for indoor and outdoor applications for medium voltage XLPE and paper insulated power cables. |

Pipecorr LVT, heat-shrinkable medium wall tubing, has been specially developed for applications with power cables up to 1kV. Pipecorr LVT has excellent insulating properties combined with toughness, resistance to impact and abrasion thus providing mechanical protection. It offers good protection from environmental effects, ultra-violet radiation and moisture. It is also resistant to oil and solvent attacks
Pipecorr LVT is easy to install; a common gas torch is required to heat and recover the tube onto the power cable or accessories. Pipecorr LVT has a high shrink ratio which allows it to be used with a wide range of cable sizes. Pipecorr LVT is available in two forms: Uncoated LVT-U and coated with hot melt adhesive LVT-C. Coated tubes offer complete sealing of the cable sheath. |

Heat Shrinkable Low Voltage Breakouts
HEAT SHRINK LOW VOLTAGE BREAKOUTS (up to 1kV)
Characteristics
Low voltage breakouts whose dimension will shrink to a predetermined size upon the application of heat above 125°C. Color of the LV breakouts is black. The LV breakouts are electrically insulating, UV resistant and weather proof.
LV breakouts come with two, three, four or five fingers and are spiral coated on machine with poly-amide based hot melt adhesive or against special orders (rubber mastic and covered with release paper).
Typical Applications
The LV breakouts provide insulation and sealing over the crutch of multi-core cables. The hot melt adhesive or the mastic sealant provides a water tight environmental seal to the cable.
The LV breakouts are normally used as an integral part of cable terminations up to 1kV.
